Pediatrician
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide primary care to children, including physical examinations, ordering immunizations, diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, and providing preventive care. Our ideal candidate is passionate about preventative pediatric care and is able to effectively communicate with both parents and children.

Responsibilities:

Provide preventive care and health education to children and their families.

Monitor the growth and development of children.

Diagnose and treat pediatric illnesses and diseases.

Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.

Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.

Refer patients to specialists when necessary.

Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Provide after hours on-call coverage as part of physician team

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Medical Assistant
Are you a Medical Assistant looking to work in a fun, small team that prioritizes quality medicine over sheer volume of patients?
We are in need of a star who can help support a team of 3 MDs and 2 other MAs. This role will care for children under the supervision of an MD. Candidates must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse pediatric care to children from birth to young adulthood.
Responsibilities:
Triage patients
Room patients and take vitals as necessary
Record medical history
Administer injections, phlebotomy
Collect and prepare lab samples
Inventory vaccines
Administer point of care tests
Communicate with patients family
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm
Setting/Facility:
Small, private pediatrics practice - single office
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role
Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
Understanding of medical office best practices
Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
Proficient in MS Office and electronic health records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and able to juggle tasks
Successful completion of MA or equivalent program is a must
Preferred:
Medical billing coding
Medical note taking
eClinicalWorks EHR experience
