Detect early signs of vision or hearing problems with routine screenings for children starting at 12 months of age at Miami Pediatrics.
Early detection of vision and hearing issues is key to your child’s development and success in school. We offer age-appropriate, in-office screening tools as part of your child’s routine checkups.
Screenings include:

Visual acuity testing using the SpotVision screener or Snellen wall chart

Hearing threshold assessments using a portable Pure Tone Audiometer

If we detect any concerns, we’ll provide referrals to trusted specialists for further evaluation.
